Even before your first contact, we have many measures in place to ensure the safest and smoothest care for you.
While extremely benign and low-risk, it is important to remember that IV hydration is still a medical procedure. For this reason, we take our precautions seriously.
The first step is deciding if IV drip therapy is right for you. It is crucial to answer the survey honestly as there are a [very] few medical conditions in which IV infusion may not be safest in an outpatient setting.
Our survey is quick, but fairly comprehensive, and once complete, our team reviews it for any contraindications.
For an added measure of safety, we’ll ask you these questions again at the time of your appointment, just in case anything changed, or you might have remembered something else!
Our team members are some of the best, and we make it that way on purpose!
The goal of our therapy is to make you feel better, and it starts with the first interaction. We offer the services in your own home (or personal location of choice), and so we strive to ensure that whoever enters your inner sanctum respects, upholds, and embodies the highest values.
We run checks on all of our team members, maintain detailed records, and update ourselves regularly for clinical and general education. We take respect very seriously, and look forward to any feedback to improve the experience!
Finding ideal nutrients is getting much easier, but that doesn’t stop us from having the highest standards of quality! We ensure our material passes rigorous tests, is sourced by a registered and reliable facility of excellence, and continues to maintain those standards so we may take comfort in offering these products to you.
Dr. Patel often says “When I’m happy to give it to my family, I’ll be happy to give it to anyone” (and yes, he actually really does like his family!).
We take our sanitization process extremely seriously. Not only do we want to ensure we protect our patients, we want to ensure safety for our team so we can continue to provide service to everyone!
Some of our precautions may seem a little over-the-top, but we do them with the best intentions.
We train our team (and re-train regularly) in optimal handwashing, aseptic techniques, and appropriate procedures to minimize the spread of any microbes. Our equipment is held in sterile packaging and used in accordance to manufacturer and ideal aseptic recommendations.
It is our privilege to offer you the convenience of a high quality experience at the location of your choice! We may bring along a few accessories depending on your choice of package to help further create a relaxing environment.
Our measures of safety are constant, and any adjustment we might make prioritizes that.
We have excellent measures in place to ensure your data and personal health information are safe.
Registering with our team gives us an opportunity to help build your profile in our system so we can have a much better idea of how to best serve you. It gives us a platform to track any health changes, and gives you access to make any updates as you remember. We use this HIPAA-compliant portal as a secure space so you can be confident that your information stays safe with us!
While the procedure is extremely low-risk, we still want to make sure that you have had a chance to review, understand, and ask any questions about what will happen. We also do a quick review of your medical history, medications, and focused physical (as appropriate). Although we take every precaution well in advance, things can change or come up on the day of the appointment, and we want to ensure we are practicing safely while allowing you the best results from your therapy!
Depending on the supplements you choose, the base of the mix, and/or any medical conditions or medications you may have, we may limit the number of “add-ons”. Some elements and nutrients can interact with others, others may not mix well after they are administered, and some can cause side effects if you have certain conditions.
During the drip, someone will be monitoring you (at least periodically). Our trained staff keep a close eye out for anything out of the ordinary.
We carefully select our equipment and ingredient mixes to have the least likelihood of containing known allergens, and we always maintain a safe, aseptic, sanitary process. Although extremely rare, it is possible you might have an unknown allergy or reaction – if this occurs, we will discontinue the drip right away and take necessary safety measures immediately.
If your medical history, evaluation, or the ingredient itself necessitates, we may have some more in-depth monitoring during the therapy (such as blood pressure, oxygen, etc.).
After you’ve completed the infusion and are all disconnected, we usually want to keep an eye on you for a few minutes. Beyond that, you are free to go!
The beneficial effects can often be felt fairly quickly, and may last for a few days to weeks. For the optimal benefits, we recommend regular follow ups for re-infusion.
As with any therapy, it is a good idea to maintain regular follow up visits with your primary care provider as well, and let us know if anything else comes up!
The drip may be complete, but that doesn’t mean our job is!
The majority of mixes we use are water-soluble. This means that, after circulating around your body, if they remain unused after a certain amount of time, you will naturally flush them out.
We are extremely careful about our dosing and regimens, and may require you to do a “trial” for certain ingredients depending on the ingredient itself and/or your medical history. We much prefer to err on the side of safety!
If anything arises after your treatment, it is quite rare for it to be a result of the IV infusion itself. However, if you have any concerns, we recommend a visit with your walk-in clinic, urgent care, or emergency room as the circumstance dictates.
The most common effect we see is a little bit of skin change at the site where the IV entered the blood vessel, but is usually only cosmetic!
Some ingredients may require a series of drips (versus a single drip) to achieve the intended effects (such as NAD). You are welcome to peruse our website for our recommendations, and may schedule the appointments as you see fit.
We have also developed recommendations to help you choose combinations that might best help you achieve your wellness goals. These infusions may have very positive synergistic effects when completed within specific time windows. Our team is very happy to coordinate these appointments for you!
If you simply enjoy choosing your own on a regular basis, in very broad safety terms, we recommend a minimum of one week between appointments for our standard formulations.
